Location: MN

Primary Responsibilities:
• Work with Oracle database security products, database performance tuning, and partitioning; database upgrades.
• Acting as a liaison between infrastructure and development, QA teams and leading the new application implementations with backend Oracle databases
• recommending, planning, and leading implementation of Oracle database best practices in the areas of IT infrastructure and application development; and reviewing and assigning Oracle database to ensure hosting on the best supported software versions
• End to end customer facing project implementations that include the following: logical and physical database design and Oracle software installations on UNIX based platforms; Database performance tuning; and Oracle database encryption, compression, and security
• Database architecture and infrastructure design and interfacing application development

Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years Oracle experience in large enterprise systems environments
• Oracle 10g and 11g experience
• RMAN
• Unix / Linux
Preferred Qualifications:
• Oracle 12c
• Bachelor’s degree
• Oracle certifications
• Healthcare industry experience
